AUTO INSURANCE
A safety belt for your wallet
Accidents happen. There’s no avoiding them, but there is also no excuse for not being prepared for one.
Having the right auto insurance policy protects you and your vehicle from damage that a major collision, hit-and-run, fender bender, theft or even vandalism can have on your wallet. The right auto insurance policy will give you peace of mind when you or a family member is behind the wheel.
At Van Leer & Edwards Insurance Services, we are able to shop a wide array of insurance providers so that we can get you the very best auto insurance policy available. Often times, consumers buy auto insurance from a retail provider. This is not cost effective and you may end up with a policy that is ill-suited to your needs. We offer personalized auto insurance plans and one-on-one service to ensure that you get the best coverage at the lowest possible rate.
If uninsured, a car accident can leave you with costly repairs, injury liability, and the potential for serious legal ramifications. It’s important for you to have the right type of policy that affords you the type of protection you need.
A well-structured auto insurance policy will provide coverage for:
All property damages
Replacement parts for your vehicle as the result of an accident
Medical expenses from injuries sustained during an accident
Roadside assistance (AAA)
As your trusted auto insurance carrier, Van Leer & Edwards Insurance Services offers you a variety of coverage options and supplemental auto insurance options.
AUTO INSURANCE COVERAGE OPTIONS
Liability coverage is the minimum required coverage that provides you with protection from damages to others involved in an at-fault vehicular accident. Liability coverage is legally required for drivers in Arizona and most every other state as well. Liability coverage does not cover your injuries or damages to your vehicle in the event of an at-fault accident.
The two main components of liability coverage are bodily injury liability and property damage liability. Bodily injury liability will cover any costs associated with injuries sustained to drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. Property damage liability will also cover any bills for property damages and damage caused to another driver’s vehicle.
If you are legally liable as the result of an auto accident, liability coverage also will cover your legal defense costs. You’ll also be protected against the loss of your home, savings, or income, as with liability coverage no one can take your assets.
Comprehensive auto insurance coverage protects your vehicle against damages and other expenses that may be the result of something other than a collision. Our team of asset protection specialists can help you prepare for unexpected surprises that may result in damages or losses resulting from:
- Theft
- Vandalism
- Glass breakage
- Hail, water, fire, or flood damage
- Damage from falling or flying objects
- Hitting an animal
Van Leer & Edward’s team of auto insurance specialists can speak to the advantages of comprehensive coverage.
Be prepared for any of life’s little surprises by adding comprehensive coverage to your auto insurance plan.
At Van Leer & Edwards, we know that your car is more than just a mode of transportation, it’s an investment. It should be protected like one. Collision coverage makes sure your car is covered bumper-to-bumper in the event of an accident.
There are varying amounts of collision coverage options for your auto insurance policy. Determining the right amount varies upon the age of your car, financial situation, and more. We recommend talking with of one of our auto insurance specialists to determine what will work best for you.
A safe driver will always obey speed limits, street signs, and traffic laws. They will also be properly insured. Unfortunately, not everyone behind the wheel is a safe, responsible driver. At Van Leer & Edwards, we realize the importance of having coverage should you be involved in an auto accident with an uninsured or underinsured driver. Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage gives you the assurance that your medical expenses and/or property damages will be covered if you’ve been involved in an accident with someone who lacks proper liability insurance.
At Van Leer & Edwards, we feel that good drivers should be properly rewarded. A diminishing deductible will do just that. A diminishing deductible can be added to your auto insurance policy that will give you a $100 credit for every year you are accident and violation-free. Safe drivers can receive up to a maximum of a $500 credit.
Van Leer & Edwards Insurance Services also offer our valued customers a Total Loss Deductible Waiver. Should your car get totaled in an accident, you won’t be responsible for paying your deductible. Call today for more details!
Van Leer & Edwards understands that accidents can be unavoidable. With accident forgiveness, your auto insurance rates won’t increase if you’ve been involved in a car accident regardless of who is at-fault. Accident forgiveness is available once per policy but can be reinstated after three (3) years.
Much like accident forgiveness, minor violation forgiveness is an add-on to your auto insurance policy. It gives you the assurance that your rates won’t increase if you receive a minor traffic citation. Minor violation forgiveness is exactly like accident forgiveness in that it can only be used once per policy, and can be renewed after three (3) years.
